Thing is, they will not be code signed for El Cap.Īs of Lion, I think, Apple has introduced primitive code signing & sandboxing with Gatekeeper. No big deal, you might wanna try some older driver.
That is a plague going on for more than 10 years now.įurthermore, most Canon OSX drivers seem to be obsolete for El Cap. Apple/ Mac OSX will probably carry the printer drivers, but not the scanner drivers- if any at all.
Canon PSC combinations are known to need both printer and scanner drivers.
